Once in a while, I score big on some gear. I use it in all sorts of new and creative ways that it was not designed or meant to be used. Sometimes this causes a premature (or mature but still annoying) gear failure. Once in a while, I find some truly indestructible gear. No matter what I do to it, this gear continues to deliver reliable service while showing minimal signs of the abuse it has sustained. Oddly, I don't feel any need to try to find a suitable replacement or better model. It is just what I need and I would rather not replace it. This isn't just for the gear that has lived up to it's expectations. This is for the gear that has fully exceeded any expectations year after year.
